Bell & Ross BR 05 GMT
As many of us travel around the world to visit family and loved ones, we thought bringing up another GMT watch could help you navigate through this holiday season. Recently the “Bell & Ross BR 05 GMT” was unveiled as the first dual time zone model in the BR 05 collection. A very useful feature that enhances the range of this luxury sports watch, also available with an integrated steel bracelet. The 41mm rounded square case is made of stainless-steel with a satin and brushed finish. Mounted to the case is a fixed rounded out square bezel with brushed surfaces, polished edges and the standard exposed screws. On the flip-side we have an exhibition case back, which allows a view to the inner workings of the mechanical movement. It sort of continues the frontal aesthetics by also featuring the four exposed coroner screws. It comes equipped with a screw-down setting-crown surrounded by crown guards, which give the case an overall concise and compact look. The crown has also been engraved with the ampersand logo that Bell & Ross is renowned for. All topped by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, which assists with water-resistance reaching up to 100 meters (330 feet).Time is exhibited on a black sunray brushed finish dial with steel applied hour index, followed by white printed minute markers. Circling around the flange is a two-tone black and silver outer ring with a 24-hour scale.A few dashes of color have been added to the overall black and white dial. The “GMT” wording has been written red, while the arrow-shaped tip of the GMT hand has a red outline. The central steel hour, minutes hands and hour index markers have all undergone a luminescent filling, for an enhanced legibility. There is also a steel framed date window at the 3 o’clock position.
