44mm Charles Darwin Expedition Bronze Chrono

Here we have IWC's first bronze watch, the IW3795-03 Charles Darwin Expedition Edition which shows signs of a beautifully unique patina (which is to expected for bronze watches). There is a minor hairline on the crystal at 2 o'clock, but not very noticeable if not looking looking for it. The case does have areas of mirror-like finish which are prone to hairlines (marks visible when with high resolution cameras or if angled at certain lighting). Pictures are part of the description so please refer to the pictures in determining the condition, pictures are of the exact watch being offered.

It comes with the full set of box and papers as well as the original purchase receipt from IWC dated 2014.

The case is made of a satin finished bronze, as is the bezel mounted atop. As for the crown and chronograph push-buttons, they are rubber coated. It is paired with an IWC black rubber strap (approximately 85% condition) and that is accompanied by an IWC bronze tang buckle. 

Functions are displayed on a black dial with luminescent filled hands and hour markers. Those functions include hours, minutes, sub-seconds, date and a flyback chronograph. 

This watch has passed through our service center where it was first checked inside and out to certify its authenticity. After that, it passed a functionality test to confirm it is running up to manufacturer's standards and water resistant. Lastly, the serial number was run through a database to verify its legitimacy. We will issue receipts and a certificate of authenticity and test it once again prior to delivery. This watch will be backed by our in-house 24-month warranty.
