36mm Vintage Engine Turned Bezel T Swiss Dial Circa 1989

Here we have a prime example of a 16220 Datejust that is in impressive condition for a watch from 1989. It seems like a piece that was either very responsibly worn or seldom worn. The case does have areas of mirror-like finish which are prone to hairlines (marks visible when with high resolution cameras or if angled at certain lighting). Included with the watch are the original Rolex box and papers, dated 1989.

The case is made of stainless steel with satin finished lugs and mirror-finished sides. Both the crown and case back are screw-down. Mounted atop the case is a stainless steel engine turned bezel. The jubilee bracelet is also of stainless steel with mirror-finished center links and satin finished outer links (fits up to an approximate 7 inch wrist).

Time and date are displayed on silver T-Swiss dial that is accompanied by index hour markers. 

This watch has passed through our service center where it was first checked inside and out to certify its authenticity. After that, it passed a functionality test to confirm it is running up to manufacturer's standards and water resistant. Lastly, the serial number was run through a database to verify its legitimacy. We will issue receipts and a certificate of authenticity and test it once again prior to delivery. This watch will be backed by our in-house warranty.
