Wire transfer: $9,201

This 136.A.C8 Deep Sea cermet chrono pays tribute to the 1959 Memovox Deep Sea. It was manufactured around 2015.

It is in excellent condition which is to be expected since most of it is of ceramic which is a scratch resistant material. Included with the watch is a JLC service pouch as well as the original instruction manual for this model. Pictures are part of the description so please refer to the pictures in determining the condition, pictures are of the exact watch being offered.

Last known MSRP was $15,000 USD.

JLC decided to make the case of cermet which is a fusion of a metal like aluminum and tiny ceramic parts which make for a lightweight material. The case also has additional layer of ceramic on top of the cermet.  As for the crown, push-buttons, case back and bezel, they are of titanium. The case back displays a frogman surrounded by bubbles.   The diver's bezel is equipped with a ceramic bezel insert. It is currently mounted on a JLC black leather strap (about 80% condition) and that is paired with a JLC tang buckle.

Functions are displayed on a black dial that is accompanied by luminescent filled hands and hour markers. Those functions include hours, minutes, sub-seconds, a three register chronograph and a chronograph phase indicator. That indicator is white is in the completely stopped position, half white and half red means the chronograph is running and completely red means it is stopped but not reset.

This watch has passed through our service center where it was first checked inside and out to certify its authenticity.
