The Panerai Luminor Chrono Flyback Luna Rossa PAM01654 is housed in a 44mm case fully constructed from titanium, offering a durable yet lightweight alternative to steel. Its brushed finish accentuates the technical feel of the material, while the form remains unmistakably Luminor, in terms of strong, angular, and built for action.
On the back, a large sapphire exhibition window reveals the in-house automatic flyback chronograph movement within. The visible architecture of the caliber, combined with the titanium case’s lightweight resilience, elevates the overall technical appeal of this limited edition. Each watch is individually numbered out of 150 units, engraved around the caseback perimeter.
It comes equipped with Panerai’s locking crown-protector bridge, along with chronograph pushers at 8 and 10 o’clock featuring bold red accent rings for sporty contrast. The case is topped by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Water-resistance can reach up to 100 meters (328 feet).
The dial retains the same monochromatic grey backdrop of the time-only option, but adds functional complexity with the inclusion of chronograph elements. A central red seconds hand and red-tipped minutes hand contrast with the background for immediate legibility, while sub-dials at 3 and 9 o’clock track elapsed time and running seconds, respectively.
