Breguet has expanded its Classique collection with the introduction of the Classique 5177PT, a refined timepiece that combines the enduring allure of platinum with the intricate craftsmanship of Grand Feu enamel. This model marks the first time that Grand Feu enamel dials have been encased in platinum within this collection, making it a noteworthy addition to Breguet’s lineup. The use of platinum, known as “the metal of kings,” lends the watch a distinct presence with its subtle gray hue and exceptional durability, perfectly complementing the timeless design of the Classique 5177PT.
The round 38mm case with a slim 8.8mm thickness is made of platinum, exuding elegance and understated luxury. The case is crafted to highlight the signature elements of the Classique collection, including a slim bezel, knurled crown, and fluted case band. The polished surfaces of the platinum enhance the watch’s refined appearance, while the case’s substantial weight underscores the rarity and prestige of the material.
On the reverse side, a transparent sapphire caseback reveals the intricacies of the calibre 777 Q. The Grand Feu enamel process involves applying multiple layers of powdered silica mixed with oxides onto a dial base, 
followed by high-temperature firings that result in a glossy, flawless finish that will remain vibrant for decades.
At 3 o’clock, the dial features a tone-on-tone date window that integrates seamlessly with the overall design, ensuring that the date indication does not disrupt the dial’s harmonious balance. 
The white gold Breguet-style hands, with their signature hollowed tips, glide smoothly across the enamel surface, adding a touch of classical elegance to the contemporary aesthetic. Positioned between the center and 6 o’clock, Breguet’s secret signature offers a nod to the brand’s heritage, an element originally used to protect against counterfeits in the 18th century.The inscription “Emaille Grand Feu” at 6 o’clock signifies the artisanal expertise behind the dial’s creation, a reminder of the enduring tradition that defines Breguet’s craftsmanship.

The “Breguet Classique 5177PT” (Ref#: 5177PT/2N/9V601) is powered by the in-house self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 777 Q with 26 jewels, and 28,800 vph. It comes equipped with a unique barrel that provides consistent energy to the movement, further contributing to the watch’s precision. Power reserve can last up to 55 hours, when fully wound.
Mounted on the watch is a black alligator scaled strap with tone-on-tone stitchings, secured to the wrist by a platinum pin buckle.
