With its bold titanium case, distinctive checkerboard dial, and advanced features, the BR-X5 Racing offers both style and performance for motorsport enthusiasts and collectors alike.The bold 41mm-wide case with a 12.8mm thickness constructed from lightweight grade 2 titanium. Its modular, sandwich-like architecture combines two micro-blasted titanium plates that frame a black DLC-coated titanium monobloc container. The watch’s distinctive square bezel, integrated with a woven carbon fiber plate, enhances its motorsport-inspired aesthetic. On the flipside the watch showcases its technical prowess with an open sapphire crystal caseback that provides a clear view of the inner mechanics. Engraved directly on the crystal is the Bell & Ross ampersand logo, plus “LIMITED EDITION 000/500” inscription.It comes equipped with a screw-down crown and discrete crown guards, crafted out of the black DLC titanium monobloc portions. The combination of these premium materials give the case a lightweight yet rugged feel, perfect for everyday wear or more active pursuits. Water-resistance can reach up to 100 meters (330 feet).Time is exhibited on a bold statement of motorsport design. The base is crafted from smoked sapphire, offering a glimpse of the movement beneath and adding depth to the dial. A checkerboard-inspired seconds track, reminiscent of racing flags, frames the dial and enhances the theme of speed and precision, while an angled inner flange displays the minutes, creating a dynamic, multi-layered effect.The large Arabic numerals marking the hours are paired with luminescent hands filled with white Super-LumiNova, ensuring visibility in any lighting conditions. At 3 o’clock, a discreet date window adds functionality without disrupting the design, while the power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock stands out with a fuel gauge-inspired display, adding an extra touch of motorsport flair.The overall layout is meticulously designed for both style and function, emphasizing the connection between high-performance racing and precision watchmaking. The "Bell & Ross BR-X5 Racing" (Ref#: BRX5R-RAC-TI) is powered by the self-winding mechanical movement, caliber BR-CAL.323 with 28 jewels, and 28,800 vph. This movement was manufactured by the Swiss specialist Kenissi, in compliance with the specifications defined by Bell & Ross. It comes equipped with a variable-inertia balance wheel and transversal bridge. It is also the first COSC certified mechanism for B&R. Power reserve can last up to 70 hours, when fully wound.Mounted on the watch is either a black rubber strap or an integrated micro-blasted titanium bracelet, secured to the wrist by a folding clasp.
