This vintage 6917 Datejust President is in very good shape for a watch that has been ticking since approximately 1981. There is a bit of stretch on the bracelet, but that is to be expected given the age. Included with the watch is an original Rolex box.
The watch has a total weight of approximately 64 grams.
Case is made of 18k yellow gold with brush-finished lugs and high-polish finished sides. Mounted atop the case is is an 18k yellow gold fluted bezel. As for the bracelet, it is also of 18k yellow gold with the presidential design. It currently fits between a 6 and 6.25 inch wrist approximately.
Time and date are displayed on a tritium t-swiss champagne dial that is accompanied by yellow gold hands and index hour markers.
Service history is unknown, however, the watch passed through our in-house service center and passed the quality control tests which implies that it is running up to manufacturer's standards. The watch will undergo another set of quality control tests before being shipped. A full one year warranty and certificate of authenticity will be issued.
