This model was designed to resemble the original skipper watch from 1968. The watch features a modern touch with the "glass box" design.
Case is made of a mirror finish stainless steel along the lugs and sides, including the crown and pushbuttons. Mounted atop the case is a high polished finish stainless steel bezel. The watch is paired with a navy blue nylon strap and a stainless steel deployment clasp.
Functions are shown on a navy dial with luminous hands and stainless steel hour markers. The teal shades on the sub-dials pay homage to boat "the intrepid" which raced in the America's cup. These functions include hours, minutes, sub-seconds, date, and chronograph.
