This Portugieser IW5449-07 is one of only 500 examples in circulation. It was sent into IWC for a full service that was completed in September of 2024, which implies a 2-year warranty from then. An official certificate of authenticity was issued by IWC as well (delivery date of the watch was in 2007), which will be included with the watch along with an original IWC box.

It was a limited edition of 500 pieces that had a last known MSRP of $89,100 USD.

In regards to the condition, it is mint ready to be enjoyed. The case does have areas of mirror-like finish which are prone to hairlines (marks visible when with high resolution cameras or if angled at certain lighting). Pictures are part of the description so please refer to the pictures in determining the condition, pictures are of the exact watch being offered.

The case is made of 18k rose gold, mostly of a mirror finish with the exception of the sides as well as between the lugs where it has a satin finish to it. Also of a mirror-finished 18k rose gold is the bezel mounted atop, crown and minute repeater slide. It is currently mounted on a dark brown IWC brown leather strap (unworn condition) and that is paired with an 18k rose gold IWC deployment buckle.

Time is displayed on a silver dial that is accompanied by rose gold hands and Arabic numeral hour markers. Also featured on the dial is a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock.

Once the slide for the minute repeater is activated, it brings about a chime to sound out the time .

The watch was submitted to IWC for a full service, so it is in perfect working order and it comes with a 2-year factory warranty beginning in September of 2024. The serial number was run through a database to verify its legitimacy. We will issue receipts and a certificate of authenticity and test it once again prior to delivery. This watch will be backed by our in-house warranty as well.
