This Rolex Datejust 278278 is in excellent condition, complete with the original box and papers. The case does have areas of mirror-like finish which are prone to hairlines (marks visible when with high resolution cameras or if angled at certain lighting). The case is made of a mirror-finished 18k yellow gold as is the fluted bezel mounted atop. Screwed down into the case is a solid gold case back as well as an 18k yellow gold crown. The President bracelet consists of satin-finished outer links and mirror-finished 18k yellow gold center links.
Time and date are displayed on mother of pearl (mop) with yellow gold applied hands and Rolex factory set diamond hour markers. A date window is located at the 3 o'clock position.
This watch has passed through our service center where it was first checked inside and out to certify its authenticity. After that, it passed a functionality test to confirm it is running up to manufacturer's standards and water resistant. Lastly, the serial number was run through a database to verify its legitimacy. We will issue receipts and a certificate of authenticity and test it once again prior to delivery. This watch will be backed by our in-house warranty.
