This model was introduced from IWC in 2012 as a tribute to the TOPGUN flight school in the small town of Miramar in San Diego California.
Watch comes with IWC service pouch and IWC Papers.
The 48.6mm case is made of a metallic-like black ceramic case which is accompanied by a titanium screw-down crown and case back. Engraved on the case back is the TOPGUN logo as well as "United States Navy" & "Fighter Weapons School". Mounted on the watch is an unworn green canvas IWC strap that is paired with a titanium IWC tang buckle.
Functions are displayed on an anthracite dial that is equipped with luminous hands and hour markers. The dial features a large central sweeping seconds hand, date aperture and power reserve display.
