This Watch Is A Transitional Submariner Model, Only iN Production For Nine Months. It Is An R Serial, And Was Manufactured iN 1987.
The Case Is Stainless Steel With Mixed Brush And High Polish Finishes. The Unidirectional Stainless Steel Bezel Features A Time-Lapse Scale. And The Scratch-Resistant Sapphire Crystal And Screw-Down Stainless Steel Crown Keep The Watch Water-Resistant Up To 300 Meters (1000 Feet). The Crystal Features A 2.5x Magnification Lens Over The Date. The Watch Is iN Excellent Condition For Its Age With Only A Few Barely Visible Hairlines, And Is Perfect Otherwise.
The Dial Is Black With Luminescent Pearl Hour Markers And Stainless Steel Luminescent-Filled Hands. The Date Aperture Is Located At The 3-O'Clock Position.
The Strap Is A Brown Calfskin Leather Strap, Handmade iN Italy. Closing The Strap Is A Stainless Steel Tang Buckle.
