Case is made of stainless steel, most of which is brush-finished with the exception of the bevels. The case back is solid stainless steel with an engraving of Jacques-Yves Cousteau himself.
Time and date are displayed on a blue dial that is accompanied by luminescent filled hands and index hour markers. The outskirts of the dial is equipped with diver's inner flange that is rotatable. A date aperture is located at 3 o'clock.
