This 1521 hemisphere is in great condition for a watch that has been previously worn. Please refer to the pictures in determining the condition, pictures are of the exact watch being offered.
This watch is made from a mirror polish 18k yellow gold with the exception of the caseback which is a combination of high-polish finish and satin. The crown is placed in a very unique position which can be seen through the dial and operated from the back of the case, That being said and the fact that this case has no lugs makes this watch very comfortable to wear. One of the unique features of this watch is the domed sapphire crystal which seamlessly united with the case of the watch.
Taking a look into the dial we see a lot of interesting things, for one the half globe (northern hemisphere) is very well hand crafted and offers rich details.. The hands are all curved and wrap around the globe which brings me to say that the watch features a red seconds hand, blue steeled minutes hand, blue steeled hours hand, as well as a blue steeled hand with an orb which displays the 24-hour time. The chapter ring is made from a mother-of-pearl and gives this watch a rich look when the light penetrates the pearl.
This watch features a modified Swiss ETA-28932-2 automatic movement.
The watch is secured by a 18k yellow gold deployant buckle and a black ostrich strap
Service history is unknown, however, the watch passed through our in-house service center and passed the quality control tests which implies that it is running up to manufacturer's standards. The watch will undergo another set of quality control tests before being shipped. A full one year warranty and certificate of authenticity will be issued.
