40mm Fat Lady Coke Bezel Circa 1987 Caliber 3085
The condition of 16760 "Fat Lady" Coke is overall quite clean, especially the case and bracelet. There are some normal signs of wear on the case back, which is to be expected. As for the bezel insert, it looks perfect to the naked eye. Pictures are part of the description so please refer to the pictures in determining the condition, pictures are of the exact watch being offered.
In the 1980's, the 16760 was made for a short run which featured the thicker case. These cases were still 40mm but had a chunkier case in order to house the new caliber 3085 movement, which was the first to feature the independently-set GMT hand.
Case is made of stainless steel with brush-finished lugs and mirror finished sides. Mounted atop the case is a bidirectional stainless steel bezel that is equipped with a black and red (Coke) bezel insert. The bracelet is also of stainless steel, displaying a mostly brushed finish with the exception of the sides which have that mirrored finish as well. Bracelet (78360/501) fits up to a 7.75 inch wrist comfortably and is secured by a stainless steel folding clasp (K7).
Functions are displayed on a black tritium dial that has begun to age beautifully with patina. The hands accompany the dial showing patina as well.
Service history is unknown, however, the watch passed through our in-house service center and passed the quality control tests which implies that it is running up to manufacturer's standards. The watch will undergo another set of quality control tests before being shipped. A full one year warranty and certificate of authenticity will be issued.
