36mm Vintage Perpetual Calendar 18k WG Second Series 1990

Here we have an extremely rare piece of Patek Philippe history in the form of the 3945/1 second series perpetual calendar in 18k white gold. Unlike its more common predecessor (3940) the 3945/1 was designed with an integrated gold bracelet and featured a slightly different leap year indicator on the dial. Adding to the rarity of this particular piece is the fact there were less white gold pieces made than the yellow gold version. 

Included with the watch are the Patek Philippe Archive papers dating the watch to the year 1990.

The case and bracelet are of 18k white gold, displaying mostly a mirror finish with the exception of the case back that has a spun finish to it. This case back actually snaps open giving vision to the movement that is highlighted by the 22k gold mini-rotor. As for the integrated bracelet, it fits an approximate 7.5 inch wrist. 

Functions are displayed on a silver dial that is accompanied by white gold hands and hour markers. Those functions include hours, minutes, perpetual calendar and a moon phase display.

This watch has passed through our service center where it was first checked inside and out to certify its authenticity. After that, it passed a functionality test to confirm it is running up to manufacturer's standards and water resistant. Lastly, the serial number was run through a database to verify its legitimacy. We will issue receipts and a certificate of authenticity and test it once again prior to delivery. This watch will be backed by our in-house warranty.
