Vintage RootBeer T Swiss Nipple Dial Circa 1970

This vintage 1675 GMT-Master root beer is in good shape for a watch that has been around from approximately 1970 according the the serial 2,4xx.xxx. Lugs and bevels are crisp which implies that the watch was not over polished. Case and case back have normal signs of wear, which is expected for a watch that has been enjoyed for this amount of time. The root beer bezel insert is in overall impressive condition. The only other blemish worth pointing out is that on the dial between 8 and 9 o'clock. Please refer to the pictures in determining the condition, pictures are of the exact watch being offered.

Case is made of stainless steel with brush-finished lugs and high-polish finished sides. Mounted atop the case is an 18k yellow gold bidirectional bezel  that is equipped with a 24-hour root beer bezel insert. Screwed into the case is an 18k yellow gold crown as well as a solid stainless steel case back. Currently mounted on the watch is an unworn brown Horween vintage-style leather strap that has a non-Rolex tang buckle.

Functions are displayed on a brown tritium dial that is accompanied by raised nipple hour markers. Featured on the dial is a magnified date window at 3 o'clock and a large central GMT hand.

Service history is unknown, however, the watch passed through our in-house service center and passed the quality control tests which implies that it is running up to manufacturer's standards. The watch will undergo another set of quality control tests before being shipped. A full one year warranty and certificate of authenticity will be issued by Element iN Time NYC.
