40mm White Dial Caliber 3186 Unpolished Circa 2011

This 40mm Explorer II 16570 has its original finish, untouched from the day it was sold by Rolex. On top of that, the watch is still in mint condition which is not something you see often. The condition is as good as it can get for a watch of this nature. Pictures are part of the description so please refer to the pictures in determining the condition, pictures are of the exact watch being offered.

Included with the watch is a Rolex box and hang tag.

Since this piece has a scrambled serial number, the watch was most likely manufactured around 2011. This would imply that this example was part of the final generation for the 16570 because the 216570 was introduced in 2011. The fact that this piece has the caliber 3186 movement (movement used in the 216570) ties everything together.

Case is made of stainless steel with brush-finished lugs and high-polish finished sides. The 24-hour bezel mounted atop is brush-finished stainless steel. Both crown and solid case back are screw-down. The oyster bracelet is stainless steel as well, mostly brush-finished with the exception of the sides of the links. Bracelet code 78790A with end-piece code 801 and clasp code RS12. The bracelet fits up to a 7.5 inch wrist comfortably.

Functions are displayed on a white dial that is accompanied by luminescent filled hands and luminous hour markers.

Featured on the dial:
- Large central sweeping seconds hand.
- Magnified date window at 3 o'clock.
- Large central red GMT hand.

Service history is unknown, however, the watch passed through our in-house service center and passed the quality control tests which implies that it is running up to manufacturer's standards. The watch will undergo another set of quality control tests before being shipped. A full one year warranty and certificate of authenticity will be issued.
