This PAM 590 is a new old stock piece with Panerai triple box, instruction manual, screw-driver, black rubber strap and rubber case guard (warranty booklet held by dealer). Please refer to the pictures in determining the condition, pictures are of the exact watch being offered.

The Italian word 'brevettato' translates to 'patented' in English, so technically saying '8 Day Patented'. A more humorous definition is: tried and tested, so 8 days tried and tested. 

Case is made of high-polish finished stainless steel, as is the bezel mounted atop. The bezel guard is of brush-finished stainless steel and the solid case back is made of stainless steel that has a spun finish to it. 

Time is displayed on a black dial that is accompanied by luminescent filled hands, luminous hour markers and a sub-seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock.
