The Screw Down Crown And Scratch-Resistant Sapphire Crystal Keep The Watch Water-Resistant Up To 60 Meters or 180 Feet. 

Beneath The Crystal Is A Sharp Black Dial With White Arabic Hour Markers, Except For The 12, 3, 6, And 9-O'Clock Positions, Which Have Luminescent Index Markers Instead. The Date Window Is Located At The 3-O'Clock Position, And The Hour And Minute Hands Are Luminescent-Filled.

Mounted To The Watch Is An Authentic IWC Black Alligator Strap, Closed By An Original IWC Stainless Steel Tang Buckle. This Strap Is A Vintage Old Style, And shows very little sign of wear.
