Broad Arrow 42mm Limited Olympic Melbourne 1956 NOS



This broad arrow Speedmaster 3556.50 is a new old stock piece, unworn and comes with papers, hang tag as well as Omega pouch. Please refer to the pictures in determining the condition, pictures are of the exact watch being offered.

The 3556.50 was designed to celebrate the 1956 summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia. There is no exact number but this piece was a limited production. 

Case is made of stainless steel, a combination of brush-finished and high-polish finished. The tachymeter engraved bezel mounted atop is also of stainless steel, brush-finished. As for the bracelet, it is mostly brush-finished with hints of high-polished finish down the middle. 

Functions are displayed on a black dial that is accompanied by luminescent filled broad arrow hands and Arabic numeral hour markers. 

Featured on the dial:
- Small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock,
- Date aperture at 6 o'clock.
- Large central 60-second counter red hand.
- 30-minute counter sub-dial at 3 o'clock.
- 12- hour counter sub-dial at 6 o'clock.
