The case is made of Panerai's new material called Carbotech which is a composite material that is based off of carbon fiber and is considered to be much lighter and more durable than ceramic or titanium. This material has an uneven matte black pattern which varies according to the cutting of the material and results in each watch being unique. The bezel is also made of the same Carbotech material. 

Time and date are displayed on a black sandwich dial that is accompanied by light blue luminescent hands and hour markers. Located at the 3 o'clock position is a date aperture and at 9 o'clock is a small seconds sub-dial.

A warranty and certificate of authenticity will be issued.
