Bell & Ross BR 05 Chrono Gray Steel & Gold
In 2019, Bell & Ross responded to the growing popularity of integrated bracelet stainless steel sports watches by launching the BR 05 series. This line cleverly combines the brand's signature square-case, reminiscent of fighter jet instrument panels, with influences from 1970's sports watches. The collection evolved in 2020 with the introduction of a chronograph version, and continued to expand in the following years with new dial colors and case materials, enhancing the BR 05 Chrono line. Notably, the limited edition BR 05 Chrono Edición Limitada, featuring a unique gold and steel case and bracelet, was released in 2022 and sold out quickly, proving its appeal and significance. The new BR05 Chrono Grey Steel & Gold has since become a staple in the permanent collection.The 42mm width and 14.25mm height stainless-steel case is crafted with vertically brushed surfaces and polished chamfered sides finish. Mounted to the main case block is a raised and rounded off square bezel in 18k rose gold with exposed steel screws in each of the four corners.
On the flip-side is a sapphire exhibition caseback that allows a view into the inner workings of the mechanical movement. It features various blued screws, purple jewels and golden gears. 
It also comes equipped with two push-pieces to operate the chronograph functions, while tucked in-between is a crown adorned by the Bell & Ross ampersand logo “&”. All topped by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Water-resistance can reach up to 100 meters (330 feet).
Time is exhibited on a sunray-brushed ruthenium dial with gold applied hour index markers and the Arabic numerals: 6 and 12, followed by an alternating minutes/seconds ring track. While circling around a dark gray sloped flange is a white printed 60-minute scale with double-digits for each five minute increment.
It also features two squared sub-dials with gold outlines and a snailed interior: a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock with a white hand and a small seconds aligned at the 9 o’clock position with a rose gold hand. These sub-dials appear slightly receded into the case in a sandwich layer style. 
There is also a small round tone-on-tone date aperture placed between the 4 and 5 o’clock positions. 
The central gold hour/minute hands, hour index markers, and Arabic numerals have all been fitted with a green luminescent coating, for an enhanced legibility.

The “Bell & Ross BR 05 Chrono Gray Steel & Gold” (References below) is powered by the self-winding mechanical movement, caliber BR-CAL.326 with 28,800 vph. It is based on a Sellita movement. Power reserve can last up to 60 hours, when fully wound.
